Other Activities

Sunday School

Our Sunday school meets every week from around 11.30 am to 12.15pm, while the morning service takes place in the chapel. However, children are encouraged to arrive at 11.00am and join us for the first part of the service. All children aged 3–11yrs are welcome. We do not meet when there is morning communion; this takes place on the second Sunday of every month.

Fellowship Meal

Once a quarter we hold a Fellowship Meal following the morning worship service. We do so on the third Sunday of March, June and September and on the first Sunday of December, which is the date of our Church Anniversary. We bring food to share but there is always plenty so please feel free to stay whether or not you have brought a contribution.

Islington Foodbank

The church is a designated collection point for the Islington Foodbank. The building will be open each Wednesday evening between 6pm and 8pm for the receipt of donations.

The foodbank is designed to help individuals and families in crisis through the provision of emergency food supplies. Local professional care-workers in the Islington area refer them, with a food voucher, to the foodbank centre where they are given their food supplies, a cup of coffee and help in finding other professionals who can help them out of their crisis.
